Frankston's Neighborhood Bakery & Grocer
From our oven to your table — handcrafted breads, seasonal pastries, and a curated selection of groceries that taste like they were made for people who actually eat.
Our Story
Tribal Nutrition wasn't built on a business plan. It was built on the idea that the food you eat should taste like someone actually cared about making it. That's still the whole plan.
We're a bakery and grocery shop on Pine Street in Frankston — the kind of place where you might bump into your neighbor while grabbing a loaf of sourdough, and neither of you rushes to leave. We bake bread the long way. We stock groceries the way we'd want our own pantries stocked. And we treat every customer like they just walked into someone's kitchen.
This isn't a chain. There won't be a franchise next door. It's just us, the oven, and the people who show up.
Every loaf, every pastry — made in-house, from scratch, before sunrise.
Ingredients sourced from farms and producers we know by name.
A gathering place, not just a store. We'd rather be remembered than be efficient.
What We Offer
Two sides of the same coin — food that's made with intention and food that's chosen with care. Both are essential.
Sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, and seasonal specialty loaves — all leavened naturally and baked in small batches. The crust is non-negotiable.
Croissants, danishes, tarts, and pies — made with real butter and a respect for technique that takes time. We don't speed-run anything.
Olive oils, preserves, grains, spices, and pantry staples — each one selected because we'd buy it for our own kitchens. No filler, no gimmicks.
Proper coffee, roasted locally, pulled fresh. Plus a selection of teas, juices, and other beverages that actually taste like something.
The Experience
We designed Tribal Nutrition to feel like walking into a kitchen that's a little more organized than yours. There's space to breathe, products worth looking at, and no pressure to hurry.
Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee on your way out or staying to browse the shelves for an hour, the goal is the same: you leave feeling like you got something good — and maybe even felt a little better.
Nothing out front that wasn't made that morning. If it's gone, it's gone — and we'll have more tomorrow.
We can tell you where everything comes from. If we can't, it doesn't sit on our shelves.
Decisions are made by people who actually work here. That means better products and better service — usually.
